FISCA Statement on Cordray Resignation

The Financial Service Centers of America (FiSCA) Executive Director Edward D’Alessio offered the following statement on Richard Cordray’s resignation as Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB):

“Director Cordray’s long-awaited departure from the CFPB signals a new opportunity for the agency to fulfill its mission of protecting consumers by preserving access to credit and creating a level playing field for all legal, financial service providers,” said D’Alessio.
